  • Gong snippet: Request came in via email from a self-service Fleet premium customer https://fleetdm.unthread.io/dashboard/inbox/all/conversations/7aed6e42-f2b8-4565-a037-fc0ed04f392b
  • @noahtalerman: User requested this because they want to be able to track lock/wipe events (or other events) in the global activity feed for offboarded employees, ensuring these actions are completed as part of an internal audit process. The current issue is that the activity feed shows hostnames, which are not unique identifiers, making it difficult to verify if devices were wiped or re-issued to new employees.
    • @noahtalerman: Eventually Update the activity feed to show unique identifiers for devices, such as serial numbers, Fleet host ID, or UUIDs, to allow clearer tracking of lock/wipe events and ensure compliance with internal processes.
