Had never run into this one before :). Thought i'd report in case it was new and/or this mean somethings more concrete to another

@roger-tbg mind providing me with some OS info? I'm assuming this is on a mac?

This was on a Mac. I haven't tried in quite awhile (and just updated to 2.7.1 via the command line.. darnit!). I'll try again soon.

I have the same error, latesrt vscode, latest extension, MBP 2018 fully updated

i'm getting the same error too. MBP M2 Max with latest vscode and latest extension.Os version Mac os sonoma 14.4

I bought a Mac recently to investigate these issues, hopefully I'll have them resolved soon!
