This particular "feature" has never worked right, the best I ever ended up with was some grayscale noise back from a "song" generated by a small image. I won't likely ever fix it either, the other half of the project is difficult enough on its own.

Essentially the whole mode is an issue.

I made a little change on convert now it is working. But calc_pixels function should be modified . The returned image is too black
