Redash's Future: Roadmap, Vision, and Security Updates

Hi Redash team and community,

Our organization has been happily using open-source Redash for a long time. However, last year we began migrating to a new BI tool. This decision was driven by the perception that Redash was no longer actively maintained. Several online posts, coupled with the lack of new releases since 2021, led us to believe the project was nearing its end.

We were pleasantly surprised to recently discover the January 2025 release. We also found this post from 2023 [link] indicating the project's revival. This is fantastic news!

Given this renewed activity, we have some questions regarding Redash's future:

• Long-Term Vision and Roadmap: Could the community team share the long-term vision and roadmap for Redash? Understanding the project's direction will help us assess whether it aligns with our organization's BI needs.

• Security Updates: Can we expect to continue receiving security upgrades for Redash? Maintaining a secure environment is crucial for us, and knowing the level of security support is essential for our planning.
