[Roadmap] File Format Identification Module

Summary

Over the past decade, file format identification services have been Catswords' commercial business model. However, due to the outdated foundation, it has completely lost its value as a commercial product. We now aim to replace it with technology that aligns with recent trends and transition to open source.

To provide file format identification in WelsonJS, we plan to actively utilize tools like YARA. However, it's important to note that WelsonJS is not primarily a cybersecurity project.
