To promptly respond a query, would it be possible for stenographer to signal stenotype to flush the current packet file before hitting the one minutes mark. This way if the query is time based and includes time stamp not yet flushed in index, stenographer can force the flush of packet and index currently hold by stenotype.
I think signal stenotype to do this is possible, does stenographer handle occasional index/packet file cover much less than a minute of traffic?
