Libspotify has been sunset https://developer.spotify.com/community/news/2022/04/12/libspotify-sunset/ |
I was working this morning to get it run under python3.10 and now I found out that libspotify is no longer supported!!! Is there any idea on how to continue here? Any solution or alternative way in sigh? Is there a way to contribute? If libspotify was turned off, is there a similar api to log in and stream locally? :-(. |
I wanna contribute to find another approach too. I can just record the redirected sound system. Please can we open brainstorming about alternatives somewhere ? |
What about https://github.com/shurizzle/oggify/network/members 🤔 Choose some fork or the original that fits best for you. |

You might want to have a look at one of these repos: And you could use/add this afterwards to convert from ogg to mp3:

Hi guys,
I am not sure if this is a spotify-ripper issue or spotify directly, but when I try to rip a song after I login it throws the error that I need a premium account even though I do have a premium account as spoitfy support assured me. Am I the only one getting this? I just tried ncspot a spotify console player and it let's me login without problem so it might not be spotify directly.
Please advice!
kind regards
Chris
