Black screen at boot on MBP with dGPU

Hello everyone,

I’m reaching out for help on trying to properly configure my Mac Book Pro with a eGPU (Razer Core) with an NVIDIA quadro P4000 card. I will spare you the details of the (sooooo many) things I’ve tried, but now I feel that I am so close to succeeding, yet still struggling!

My current status is that the proper diver is installed (418), and nvidia-smi recognizes both cards (dGPU and the quadro). However, if I enable the eGPU through the switcher, I get a black screen at the boot. I’ve seen the troubleshooting on that matter, but I am not clear on how to play with the BIOS.

FYI, I get a warning message saying that nvidia-prime is not supported when I do nvidia-settings.
