What happened?

After installing (Webflasher) on an ESP32S3 development board (16MB flash memory, 2 USB-C Ports), you can still control the ESP via AP mode. If you now restore the pin mapping and the main config, the DTU can no longer be found in the WLAN. AP mode also no longer works. The only thing that helps is a reinstallation to get back to the web interface.

To Reproduce Bug

Restore PIN Mapping or Main config

Expected Behavior

Normal Working of the DTU

Install Method

Pre-Compiled binary from GitHub releases

What git-hash/version of OpenDTU-OnBattery?

Last Version

What firmware variant (PIO Environment)?

Please confirm the following

  • I believe this issue is a bug that affects all users of OpenDTU-OnBattery, not something specific to my installation.
  • I have already searched for relevant existing issues and discussions before opening this report.
  • I have updated the title field above with a concise description.
  • I have double checked that my inverter does not contain a W in the model name (like HMS-xxxW) as they are not supported.
