what are slh files? how did you get one?

As shown in the figure, I got this file after the calculation, perhaps because I opened the calculation log?

This is a peacock file, generated by the gui for a variety of purposes

You can try a text editor but most of the peacock files are not meant to be opened

If I want to keep a log of my calculations, how do I set it up?
