Door Position Sensors not responding #98
Comments
Same issue. I have a UA-Hub-Gate that has been working fine since 1.2.6 but having updated to 1.2.8 my DPS sensors no longer work they report correctly in Unifi Access. Unifi UA-Gate Versions: Home Assistant version = 2025.2.1 |
@dodavies looks like you have 4 gates (1 of them is inactive). Only the "Main Gate" is reporting DPS status. The "Workshop door" and the "Side Gate" are not reporting DPS status. Also it looks like you're using "polling". I highly recommend setting the integration in websocket mode (do not tick "Use Polling") when setting up the integration for fast and minimal updates. |
@imhotep Three gates and an item called All Doors. |
@dodavies great! FYI, "All Doors" is only for evacuation and lockdown. Your hub lists 4 total doors. One of them is orphaned. The integration handles that use case and won't show that orphaned door but you may want to reset the hub to avoid issues. @DB509nr1 I am going to close this issue. If you're still facing problems, please re-open it and provide some debug logs using these steps |
I have 5 UA-Hubs version 4.7.3.0 with door position sensors. The sensors are showing as entities in home assistant but the status is closed regardless if the door has been opened or if it is closed. Door position status in the Access application does change appropriately. Any suggestions?
