This poses no significant issue for users, really, but it can be quite confusing, specially for those less familiar with {arrow}.

library(censobr)
library(dplyr)

df <- censobr::read_population()

df2 <- df |> 
  dplyr::select(code_state, abbrev_state) |> 
  dplyr::collect()

Warning messages:
1: Potentially unsafe or invalid elements have been discarded from R metadata.
