ISSUE - Status Attribute not updating #9

You can see the outlet shows off but the status attribute is not matching this. (note the status should be OFF as its hard off.

here Fuge is Hard on and Skimmer is Auto ON

It seems to be that the Status is not auto updating

@behold81 Did you toggle the outputs in HA or on the Apex device itself? Unless toggled from HA it will only update it's status when it polls the controller according to the update interval you set.

Edit- I've managed to replicate the issue on my test instance so will see what's going wrong later. Looks like sometimes the controller doesn't respond properly.

Really great integration. Curious why the 'OK' is needed along with the actual status of the outlet. I am attempting to create sensors based on the attributes and it makes it more of a challenge.

For simplicity the sensor attributes includes all data returned from the items json. I don't edit that data at all and left it in for debugging or if anyone wants to use it for custom templates etc.

This still seems to be an issue….but above said solved….why??
