When i search for ~, hyper freezes in what seems to be an infinite loop.

I'm on hyper 2.0.0 and hyper-search 0.0.9.

I think it gets stuck in a loop when any single character is entered:

(This is on Mac OSX High Sierra)

  1. Press <Cmd>-F to focus the search input
  2. Enter a single character, e.g., a
  3. Press <Enter> a few times

Result:

  • Hyper UI is frozen
  • Activity monitor shows Hyper Helper at ~100%
  • Doing a full reload restores functionality
