I really like the idea of having a reverb in jamulus (the next best thing to being able to host plugins of any kind) but let's face the fact that the current reverb algorithm being used sounds so awful that you can't actually use it. (makes you sound like you're trapped in a toilet (yes, I mean the bowl itself with the lid closed ;) )
There are, however, open source reverbs that sound very good like MVerb for example, which is my all-time favourite -> https://github.com/martineastwood/mverb
It would be great if we could swap the reverb for a good sounding one given the license is compatible. It would really benefit windows, mac and non-tech users in general that have a hard time incorporating effects because of the lack of audio routing functionality on their systems. (I'm thinking choir rehearsals for example)
I tried to get MVerb into jamulus already but got stuck since I'm not a programmer.
