Hi, thanks for the report. I currently do not see any platform-specific code in the jack name handling, so I'm a bit lost why this problem occurs. |

Yes the test has been done with the official 3.7.0 windows build and the Linux version is from Librazik 3 repository. I modified the jackrouter ini file. I will try to reinstall jack. |

So, i tried to reinstall Jamulus 3.7.0 (official build on github) and reinstall Jack v1.9.18 but jack client name does not change. Ah, so you are using the official Jamulus build. As far as I know, this is ASIO-only. If you want to use Jamulus directly with jack on Windows, you will have to do a custom build with You seem to be using It may be possible to change the client name for ASIO as well and this may make it work, but this is a different feature request to what's already implemented. |

You are right : I'm using jack router asio driver. If it's not possible to change jack client name with the asio driver then my demand is to support jackd directly on windows 10 too on the official build. |

Hello,
the --clientname option does not change the jack client name in qjackctl.
Example:
Jamulus --clientname TEST
It works on Linux but does not work on Windows 10.
The jack client name should be "Jamulus TEST".
Kind Regards,
Laurent
Tested on Jamulus 3.7.0 (Windows and Linux)
