So long enough for a client to determine there's nothing going on, and disconnecting. Thats 30 seconds. What's the actual problem? |

The server is private and the ip is only available for members of the group. |

Why 3 users (3 users over the same ip want to know the status of a private server? The question is: is necessary to study the problem? we can have security issue? |

You've provided no details. No one will be able to help you. Are you talking about entries in your server firewall log? Are you talking about Jamulus connection entries? What are you talking about? |

Looks like automated scans to me, if that bothers you, maybe you should shutdown the server when you don't use it. Not much else you can do about it other than performing some intensive firewalling or whitelisting of IPs you want to allow. |

Quite. You expose your IP address whenever you connect to a public server or directory. Anyone can collect details of people running the Jamulus client to connect to public servers or a server to a public (or known) directory. Then anyone can see if you're running a server on any port at that IP. If you don't want you server exposed to the whole internet, you need a firewall with rules that restrict it to the incoming connections you require. |

Hi,
I have a private server. Its about two month that i observe abnormal connections to my server.
I see that 3 differet IP addres was connected to my server for 30sec. No audio no name.
Only 30sec. per Times.
This connections are on different moment of the day.
The first time of my observation the ip addresses that i found on log was the same and i block it on firewall, after few day i found on log new 3 ip thats are connected for 30sec.
Very strange activity...
