Bonjour,
A fabulous rock cultural exchange happened recently between 2 virtual groups, one in Brazil the other in Canada. Thanks to Jamulus and an astute musician/MC, we were able to share some of our respective setlists alternating groups and songs.
I believe the MC (also a participating musician in both groups) used one client to the canadian server and another to the brazilian server coordinated through a DAW to pipe audio around.
While european musicians seem to easily play together irrespective of countries/main language, due to smaller distances and possibly better/more fiber internet than here, it is more rare in the Americas. I have never witnessed separated bands presenting their setlists to each other.
What an evening ! In one word that experience was "supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" *.
I had to relate this event so more remote groups could be interested, Hopefully, it may promote more openness and friendship , increasingly needed in these times.
