Central Servers
Each Central Server can only list a maximum of 200 servers at any one time.
When you start a public server, you will see a message saying whether your server has been successfully listed or not (Headless server operators: please see note below).
If it does not, please wait until a slot becomes available (your server will keep trying).
As of April 2020, in order to minimise the problem of exceeding the 200 server limit, we have created two Central Servers.
When you start your server, it will attempt to register at the nearest Central Server unless you change it manually. Similarly, when a Jamulus client starts up, it will by default connect to the nearest Central Server (currently either US or Rest of World) unless that is changed manually.
