Each Central Server can only list a maximum of 150 servers at any one time.

When you start a public server, you will see a message saying whether your server has been successfully listed or not (Headless server operators: please see note below).

If the Central Server is full, please choose another server list to register your server to.

As of May 2020, in order to minimise the problem of exceeding the server limit, we have created genre-based Central Servers. So there should always be a list available which has empty slots for your server.

Headless servers

As of May 2020, you will need to register with the appropriate Central Server manually. Here is a list of supported Central Servers:

• Default : jamulus.fischvolk.de

• All Genres : jamulusallgenres.fischvolk.de:22224

• Genre Rock : jamulusrock.fischvolk.de:22424

• Genre Jazz : jamulusjazz.fischvolk.de:22324

• Genre Classical/Folk/Choir : jamulusclassical.fischvolk.de:22524

Use the selected address to your -e (--centralserver) option, e.g.: -e jamulusrock.fischvolk.de:22424
