Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
The search results when fetching metadata are often inaccurate. For example:

but the book exists in LC:
https://lubimyczytac.pl/ksiazka/5133431/psx-extreme-09-2024

I understand that this is most likely a limitation of LC search API(?) which calibre-web is using, but to avoid such problems in the future it would be nice to also search by metadata (in this case LC id number). It may be somewhat relevant to a previous ticket #2026.

Describe the solution you'd like

  • It would be nice to also search by metadata (in this case LC id number)

Describe alternatives you've considered

  • As an alternative, maybe instead of searching by metadata in LC, calibre-web could automatically pull the relevant metadata from LC if the book has "lubimyczytac" tag and the user clicks "Fetch metadata"?
