Thanks so much, I am not sure how I missed that when searching. I will give it all a try Also, thinking one of my setting modifications may be blocking the function but I will play with it until I get it.
Thanks again for providing the emulator, I am not a game player but still use several dos based programs which still perform better then anything that I can find in the market for the same purpose.

Thanks for any help, I ma trying to use an old dos program which does not have mouse support. the program runs fine in dos-box-x but I am trying to find a way to capture section s of the screen to the clipboard. When I try using the mouse, nothing seems to highlight or gets captured. When locking the mouse, the mouse pointer just disappears.
Is this function available so that I may click on one section, move to a different location, click to highlight the section and paste it to the clipboard for use elsewhere?
