My semicolon key is mapped in hardware to emit colon-character, but how to specify that in defsrc?

Single-tap of my semicolon key ; is mapped using zmk to colon : and double-tap semicolon key is mapped to semi-colon. How should I handle this in the defsrc declaration? I tried putting : in the defsrc but it didn't like it so I cannot identify it for mapping using other layers. Thanks for all the great work!

On my zmk/qmk boards I have a basic QWERTY layer with no special actions for when I use Kanata. That's one option.

If you just want to change this one colon behaviour you can use chords with lsft and ;.
