I use killbill with docker.

I configured email-notifications with following events

org.killbill.billing.plugin.email-notifications.defaultEvents=INVOICE_CREATION,INVOICE_PAYMENT_SUCCESS

When I cancel a subscription an email will be send but i did not add SUBSCRIPTION_CANCEL
