Knulli build version

2024/05/30

Your architecture

RG35XX H

Issue description

  1. It doesn't come up well on the list when connecting to hotspot wifi.
  2. When I connect Wi-Fi, turn on sleep mode, and come back, Wi-Fi breaks and I can't reconnect.
  3. The public Wi-Fi is also not connected well.

Detailed reproduction steps

  1. Wi-Fi connection
  2. Sleep mode
  3. Return to sleep mode
  4. The Wi-Fi icon is up, but the Internet connection is actually disconnected
  5. To reconnect, I have to turn off, turn on, and reset the Wi-Fi, but it often doesn't work.

Hey there,
do you use 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi?

Can you still reproduce it on the new release?

I have just installed Knulli Firefly on an rg40xxv and I noticed that when I put the device into sleep and come back the wifi doesnt connect back up unless I toggle wifi enabled off and back on.

One thing to note is I have one of those ISP routers where the 5ghz and 2.4ghz share the SSID, so unsure if that is causing issues at some point, but it works fine until the device is slept.

To update this I found the Hybrid Wifi Fix option in Firefly and after turning that on the problem has stopped, so after coming out of sleep the wifi correctly turns back on.
