Changing turnip prices resetting character

From a non edited save Changing the turnip prices in the editor and then loading the save back into the game brings me to the character creation cutscene. I went through the cutscene on a whim and it is still my island im just a new character.

Date is a non Sunday at middle of the week, I don't time travel and is mid day so turnip prices don't change. when I changed the turnip prices I also tried changing all of them to values that you would actually see in a week with a large spike. and changing the flag to that as well. still does the same thing.

Hi,
Could you please reproduce again on another copy of the save for us and provide the exact steps you are taking (preferably screenshots) as a reply for validation / method checking?
The save file would also be helpful if we need to check it once the steps taken are validated as correct and therefore a bug.

I'm skeptical; complete invalidation sounds like incorrect importing of the save data, which isn't NHSE's fault.

Agreed. No further info for validation of user steps in a couple of days = closed.
