Return JSON Empty Object

Hi Guys, can we return an empty object on JSON response {} instead null value, if possible how?

Expected JSON response

{
    "status": "Bad Request",
    "message": "xxx cannot be null",
    "data": {}
}

Current JSON response

{
    "status": "Bad Request",
    "message": "xxx cannot be null",
    "data": null
}

{} is JSON object which is result for standard library JSON marshaling empty map map[string]string{} or struct struct{}{}.

Example:

func main() {
	e := echo.New()

	e.GET("/", func(c echo.Context) error {
		return c.JSON(http.StatusOK, map[string]string{})
	})

	log.Fatal(e.Start(":8080"))
}
