<p>Experienced Staff Software Engineer focused on building frontend web applications and leading teams delivering impactful projects. <li>Currently serve as the lead Frontend developer for Resume Search, leading & mentoring a team of 10 other Frontend devs</li>
<li>Have lead multiple large-scale projects for Resume Search including rebuilding their purchase flow from the ground up, planning and implementing a split of their monolithic webapp into four different applications with almost no interruption of development, setting up module builds of our webapps for modern browsers (leading to a 35% decrease in page load times), setting up proper alerting and on-call schedules for each frontend project, and more. </li>
<li>Serve as a trainer for multiple frontend interview questions and have helped conduct mock interview sessions with fellow Indeed engineers to help increase Indeed's capacity to bring on new frontend talent</li>

<p><strong>Staff Software Engineer (SWE III) — Indeed</strong> Remote (San Diego, CA) | Nov 2020 - Present</p>
<ul>
<li>While on loan to the Indeed Hiring Platform team, I orchestrated the splitting of their existing monolithic webapp into 2 frontends and 2 backends, reducing the queue of merge requests and speeding up deployment by allowing each app to be deployed independently.</li>
<li>Helped Indeed Hiring Platform create a shared component library utilizing Webpack Module Federation. This removed over 2.5k lines of duplicated code between their apps and ensured that each app was always utilizing the most recent version of their components without needing to redeploy.</li>
<li>Implemented Mixpanel event tracking in our applications and built dashboards around the events so we could make more informed product decisions.</li>
<li>Lead mock interview sessions to help train 20 new interviewers on two different frontend interview questions in order to help Indeed meet their goals of greatly expanding their engineering team in 2022.</li>

<p><strong>Senior Software Engineer (SWE II) — Indeed</strong> Seattle, WA & Remote (San Diego, CA) | Nov 2018 - Nov 2020</p>
<ul>
<li>Served as the frontend lead developer for Resume Search's adminstration dashboard, guiding the development of 5 other frontend SWEs at the time</li>
<li>Rebuilt the purchase flow for Resume Search from the ground up, leading to a 10% increase in our conversion rate</li>
<li>Engineered a new solution for checking A/B test buckets on the frontend to obfuscate the test names and allow us to deploy new tests without a backend deploy</li>
<li>Set up module builds for our frontend, reducing the bundle size shipped to modern browsers by over 40% and reducing average page load time from 750ms to 400ms.</li>

<p><strong>Software Engineer (Next Gen POS Replacement) — Backend, Nordstrom</strong> Seattle, WA | Aug 2015 - Feb 2016</p>

<li>Built REST microservices using Java 8 that will together provide all backend funtionality for Nordstrom's next gen POS system</li>
<li>Automated deployment of said microservices with Jenkins, Docker, and AWS</li>
<li>Helped develop a Java framework to bootstrap microservice development within Nordstrom that includes automatic swagger documentation generation without any required annotations</li>
