The following file is an export of a notebook titled "Material". It includes two sections, "Material Deutsch" and "Material Englisch" (I am a teacher for German and English) with each containing a number of notes.
The section "Material English" and all the notes within it are not imported, the section "Material Deutsch" is imported completely.

Hi guys, just downloaded the Update to 3.2.13 and gave the OneNote Importer another try (this time with my "real" notebook of ca 1.9 GB size) and again several sections from OneNote are missing. So apparently the original problem still exists.

Thanks for your help!

Cheers
Martin

@againman-by, could you provide an example note showing the problem please?

@laurent22 Im putting together a notebook with sections that don't work, will upload it as zip file and provide the link.

One thing I noticed: It's almost always complete sections that are missing. If a section is imported, in 99% all the notes within it are there. I've just encountered one instance where a section was imported but two notes inside that section were missing.

So, here we go: https://1drv.ms/u/c/dbf882be562eafdb/EdLT_JjcizlPi62VYvmVxLQBTmFeFz98AyxnVFbmJ-mz2g?e=2cl8xA

The notebook is "Export_Test" and includes three sections:

  • Das Herz eines Boxers
  • Debatte
  • Lyrik

All of which were not imported when trying to import the "original" notebook they come from. After putting them in the "test notebook" the first and third section were imported. "Debatte" is still missing.

Thanks for staying on this problem!

Thank you for checking!

Hi guys, just downloaded the Update to 3.2.13

At present, #11859 is only in the 3.3.x versions of Joplin, which are currently in pre-release. See getting pre-releases and the changelog for 3.3.2.

Edited: Re-worded, clarified which change is present in the 3.3.x pre-release.

Ha, I thought I'd read something about fixing the OneNote importer in the 3.2.13 release notes, but maybe I somehow mixed them up. Have 3.3 PR on my system, so I'm going to give that a try with another (even larger) OneNote notebook. Thanks for clarification!
