"Open Quarterly Note" command doesn't work

I have quarterly notes set up (see pic 1) and I have a hotkey for opening the current quarterly note (see pic 2.) I have a note for this quarter, titled and filed appropriately, but when I use the hotkey to open it, it says "Unable to create file" (see pic 3), suggesting it a) can't locate the file, b) doesn't even know the file exists, and c) isn't able to create it for some reason (maybe it tries to create it but it conflicts with the note that already exists and it can't.)

I asked for help in the Obsidian group and someone else said they tested it out and were able to recreate the problem. They also tried it without a template, and also tried it without the "YYYY/" at the beginning to ensure it wasn't a folder error. Both times, the problem still arose.
