Please clarify the legal situation in the FAQs

• Presumably, both the MicroG and LineageOS teams grant everybody an Apache-style license to use the software.
• Does Google have rights (copyright, patents, brands, ...) over MicroG? For private / commercial use? Is there a license?
• What kind of permission is needed to use the Google APIs on their servers?
• I read somewhere that MicroG depends on EU legislation to be legal. What about outside the EU?
