couldn't get resource list for tap.linkerd.io/v1alpha

We just upgraded our linkerd control-plane, crds, linkerd-viz fromstable-2.12.5 to stable-2.13.5

Since then, we are having following errors whenver we run any cmd using kubectl:

... memcache.go:287] couldn't get resource list for tap.linkerd.io/v1alpha1: the server is currently unable to handle the request

APIService seems to be fine:

I am clueless on where to look to resolve this.

Client Version: v1.27.3
Server Version: v1.24.15-eks-a5565ad

Seems to have resolved the issue once I downgraded the kubectl version. Waiting for feedback from other inside the orgs before I mark it close. :)

kubectl version --short
Flag --short has been deprecated, and will be removed in the future. The --short output will become the default.

Errors seems to back in v1.26.x Looks like dependent on k8s api-version deprecation.

Client Version: v1.26.7
