Describe the bug

Issue when attempting to change the audio or video input device using the default control bar while the corresponding track is muted.

Reproduction

When the track is muted, opening the MediaDeviceSelect menu and selecting a different input device does not result in any change. The menu remains open, and the selected device is not activated.

Interestingly, if I unmute the track after selecting a new device, the input switches to the newly selected device. However, there's no visual feedback or indication of this change until the track is unmuted.

This behavior is reproducible in the LiveKit Meet web demo: https://meet.livekit.io/
