A1111 is essentially stagnant. Forge is the new leader. I’d rather see extensions need to be rewritten if it means Forge pioneers into new territory. Here are a few things I’d like to see after the rewrite:
The function to pause during an active generation with the following improvements and QOL advancements:
Ability to allow extensions to manually pause generation, then for said extension to run mid generation during pause sequences.
Ability for the user to pause generation, then, resume or cancel generation when desired.
Ability to for the user to pause, adjust settings, and resume generation with new settings.
Allow more control over refiner.
Ability to swap sampler after certain step
Ability to swap scheduler after certain step
etc etc
Change X, Y, Z plot to something similar to the infinity grid extension, or, allow any value usable for X Y Z plot to be handed off to the infinity grid extension as long as it’s detected in use.
Allow saving and loading workflows via dropdown. Saves all controlnet settings, all built in extension settings, txt2img/img2img/other tab parameters etc upon user request. Then, loads them upon selecting a profile named and saved by the user under the “workflows” drop-down.
A more in-depth and less confusing queue system.
Maybe this could be achieved by a simple “add to queue” and “view queue” button. Already somewhat doable in A1111 with limitations, sometimes won’t let you exceed a certain amount of objects in queue by just using “shift + enter.” Would also be nice to view queue to stop/interrupt specific generations within a queue.
And in general, I believe in the vision of Forge, so anything the developers feel would be an improvement I would value over compatibility with old extensions.
Thank you for all your work on this project! That goes to all the developers. Appreciate you all.
