Bug line on wallpaper in desktop mode on right and bottom #19
Comments
All necessary information is missing:
|
Distribution on both devices: Artix Linux (OpenRC) Files: buggy_wallpapers.tar.gz The wallpapers I use are usually at a very high resolution, exceeding the size of my screens. I also noticed when switching from bright purple wallpaper to dark, that the line on the right is bright purple. UPD: I made the panel (lxpanel) transparent, and now I see, that there is also a bug line at the bottom |
Have you really ever noticed this with png files? The files are bilinearly interpolated and the artifacts you observe are very likely a result of the jpeg format. I saved the wallpapers in png format and there were no longer any bug lines. |
Maybe you're right. Maybe the .png wallpapers that I have have some problems. |
Desktop settings -> Wallpaper Mode -> Stretch to the full screen and crop.
A strange line appears on the right.
Sometimes it doesn't appears, especially if switch the wallpaper mode several times.
Appears on resolutions: 1600x900, 1366x768.
It is especially annoying when the wallpaper is dark and the line is white.
It looks like an error when taking pixels from image, going out of bounds or something like, idk.
