File limit issue on MacOS

Whenever I try to raise the buckets over 128 I get these kinds of errors:

chia-plotter % Cannot open at least 324 files, please raise maximum open file limit in OS.

chia-plotter % Cannot open at least 580 files, please raise maximum open file limit in OS.

However the actual limits on MacOS are over 12000 and if needed can go higher, so why am I seeing this when I try more buckets?

Found it... I guess it depends on the machine. Not sure why mine has a soft limit set like this:
maxfiles 256 unlimited

But it can be adjusted using this:
sudo launchctl limit maxfiles 65536 200000

Well it was supposed to fix it but does not. Still researching.

Ahh... Have to quit Terminal and reopen for it to work.
