When the app that malloy-render is embedded in is set to "dark mode", some CSS values (? classes? I don't know css) are modified that impact tooltips. It seems as though the render component creates a shadow-dom, but perhaps the tooltips are not part of that dom? I don't really understand any of this and I'm just the messenger. Here is what happens:
