Is it not restored at all or is it not correctly shown in the Fan Control tab?
What I mean is that Radeon profile should already restore the fan profile, but there is/was* (more on that in a second) a bug where the GUI was not correctly restored according to the last profile used when the application was closed. It is true for both the fan and the overclock profiles.
I'll be publishing a new release soon under my fork. I've included all the patches that were collected by @emerge-e-world and some improvements and fixes. Both Overclock and Fan Control tabs should now be restored properly when launching Radeon Profile if a profile was selected previously. If you want to try it, it is here https://github.com/Oxalin/radeon-profile in the master branch. If you try it, let me know if it fixes the issue you're having with the last official version 20200824.
