The initial release of October was scoped quite small (on purpose) to be able to get something released.
Ideally users should be able to pick and choose what highlights they want to upload to Readwise (or export to their computer generally) so this is a broad issue to track this idea.

I hear more about the File System API these days so I should check if it's possible to access USB devices yet. At a guess, probably not but it'd be nice to have a purely browser implementation of October
This would be a really nice feature, but the beauty of the app now is that it's really simple to use. A smaller version of this feature would be a list of books that were uploaded-synced (without possibility to select).
As raised in #140, it would be nice to be able to selectively upload certain store-bought highlights while still defaulting everything to off.
I would imagine there would be a split between a "Basic" and "Advanced" mode where Basic is essentially the one-click current setup but you'd jump over to Advanced Mode to do more complex syncing styles and review errors.
