matlab-batch versioning and release notifications

There is no clear way to know the version of a matlab-batch executable without downloading and calling matlab-batch -version.

Can you look into means to either:

• Publish release notifications via GitHub
• Provide API access such as https://ssd.mathworks.com/supportfiles/ci/matlab-batch/v1/glnxa64/releases

Thanks for these suggestions, I will pass these on to the team and see what can be done to make new versions of matlab-batch easier to discover. In the meantime you can look at the changelog at the bottom of MATLAB_BATCH.md to see the latest version of the binary.
