On MacOS, my colleague is getting an error like this:

ERR No application in the Launch Services database matches the input criteria.: Error: No application in the Launch Services database matches the input criteria.

On Windows, I get a different error:

ERR ENOENT: no such file or directory, open 'C:\C:\Users\ziggy\Downloads\sample-test.avro': Error: ENOENT: no such file or directory, open 'C:\C:\Users\ziggy\Downloads\sample-test.avro'

Something's not right with the path parsing.
