NurseryFinder (Βρες Παιδικό Σταθμό in Greek) is an Android application that concerns the creation of a database containing information about Nurseries throughout the country, which is accessible to both a) Nursery owners, giving them the ability to create a business profile, as well as to b) Parents searching for the most suitable Nursery for their children.
The application provides to the user the ability to view Nurseries' profiles and photos, find them on location maps, contact them via email or phone through the application, but also offers the ability to use filters in order to search the database with criteria, according to users' requirements.
Firebase platform was used auxiliary for user authentication and for hosting realtime data.
The application was made in Greek language.
The Nursery owners can log in or sign up to their account and navigate to their menu:
They can edit the profile by making choices from drop down menus or by completing text fields. Informative messages will guide them throughout the process:
Nursery owners can upload photos and add descriptions of them. They can edit or delete their uploads as desired:
They also have the ability to permanently delete their account or log out:
Both users (Nursery owners and Parents) can scroll through the database and access any nursery profile:
They can select the nursery profile they desire and contact them via email or phone through the app. They can also locate the nursery on a map or view their photo gallery:
Finally, all users have the ability to search for nursery profiles using filters based on their preferences:
