Haven't checked with many games, but this is guaranteed on Phantasy Star Zero with certain characters portraits in cutscenes, such as with Kai here:
With Compute Shader. it gets progressively worse with anything above 1x Native Resolution (which has no problem), with a huge glitch stripe showing at 8xNR:
in Classic OpenGL, it stays with incorrectly offset 2d elements even at 1x.

I've got a similar issue with SimCity Creator. The 3D rendering of the city breaks completely only at certain spots of the map with 4x upscaling. No issues at native or 2x resolution.
