Describe the bug

Image

Installer has been running for a few minutes now and there's no way of knowing if it's hung or actually doing something. The installer should have progress indication so you know something is happening.

Steps to reproduce the bug

  1. Download WinAppSDK 1.7
  2. Run it as administrator
  3. Wait and don't see anything updating other than Deploying package: Microsoft.WindowsAppRuntime.1.7-experimental3_7000.392.2319.0_arm64__8wekyb3d8bbwe
  4. Keep waiting
  5. Question whether anything is happening
  6. Wait some more

Expected behavior

Installer shows some progress like just about every other installer on Windows GUI or command line.

Thank you for the feedback @aclinick. We've identified this as a feature request to be applied to our installer and have added this to our backlog.
