TVs are not being updated

Hi Mark,
thanks for a great plugin. It saved us a great deal of time with the initial content import.
Now we're getting into maintenance mode and the client actually prefers to make their content changes in the spreadsheet we setup and would like us to import data from that on the recurring basis.
We tried ImportX but it appears that TVs are not being updated. This is a major issue for us.
Do you have any workarounds or even point us to where we can try to fix it ourselves?
Of course a patch from you would be the best option.
