Summary

The folder dropdown is not opening, preventing access to the documents inside the folder.

Step to reproduce

  1. Navigate to the document management section in Modex.
  2. Click on a folder (e.g., Workplace Mental Health and Well-Being Instructor Course).
  3. Observe that the folder does not expand to show its contents.

Observed behavior

Clicking on the folder does not reveal the documents inside.
No loading indicator or error message appears.

Expected behavior

Clicking on the folder should expand it, revealing the documents inside. Or an arrow to open the folder.

Environment

MODX version

  • What exact version of MODX are you using?
    MODX currently has to different branches, so it's important to know what exact version you are using.
    The MODX version (e.g. 2.8.6-pl) is shown beneath or next to the MODX logo in the main menu or by going to .../manager/?a=system/info.

  • Does this behavior affect all the folders or just some of them?

  • When did this problem start? After an upgrade from an older MODX version?


  1. Navigate to the document management section in Modex.
  • Do you mean the "Files" tab (see image below) by that?

@Shannon226 that version of MODX is long out of date. I would suggest upgrading all your Extras to the latest versions, then upgrading to version 2.8.8. I suspect the problem will be solved.
