PDB React.js Drupal 8

Having a hard time getting any of the example modules to work with React.js in Drupal 8. When added to the page they simply show the title, but never render the component.

I've also not been able to add any custom react components either. Is there something obvious I am missing?

I noticed that when they are added to the page there is also an index exception thrown by ReactBlock.php. Any thoughts on this? Really love the concept and looking to get this plugged into my current Drupal project.
