Request: article expiration date

Hi, I looked in the feature pages and in the code and I couldn't find the feature, but would it be possible to optionally define an expiration date on an article, and have it hide from public view after it reaches that threshold?

Sometime an article can be time-sensitive, and having the ability to hide potentially old or irrelevant articles would be nice.
