It is possible for third-party apps to be a passkey provider on iOS now. Is it possible that Pass might become one of these providers? Existing passkey providers (Apple's own, other big password apps such as 1password, and Google's own and others on Android as well) seem to require storing passkeys in their cloud; Pass keeps all my data under my control, which is why I use it, and this seems like it would be a good fit. I don't know how much work this is, and how much of it would be part of pass itself rather than passforios, although hopefully storing the passkey data in pass would be OK and not require any changes there. Is this something that might be considered?

+1 for this
This needs to store passkey data in an standard format inside pass files, so other extensions(like browser extensions) have compatibility with mobile ones and we could use our passkeys everywhere, I think it should be discussed with the rest of the Pass developers
Here is a more detail about how to be a passkey provider on iOS 17+: https://developer.apple.com/documentation/authenticationservices/aspasskeycredentialrequest
