Feature Request

Some tests are tricky to write and we end up adding some mocks at different levels (terminal, VCS, toolchain...). It would be better if we could write tests simply, as if we had the real environment, but running in memory.

Feature Description

Experiment using techniques from James Shore Testing Without Mocks

Then learn and decide what to do next.

Alternatives

  • keep the code as it is
  • use another school of testing?

Additional Context

  • This experiment might lead to coaching content
